3 Year Old Program

Our 3 year old program stresses independence, accepting responsibility, and learning to get along with other children in a group situation.  Our children are encouraged to develop and to mature physically, socially, emotionally, and cognitively.  Each child will begin learning to recognize his or her name as well as how to write it.  Letters and numbers will be learned through daily lessons.  Cutting skills and handwriting are an important part of the curriculum.  Children will also have the opportunity to learn and create projects utilizing shapes and colors.  In addition, cooking and science are also integrated into the curriculum.  Finally, toward the latter part of the year, the 3 year olds begin to use sight words to enhance their pre-reading skills.  They also participate in Music and Movement and have large muscle play each day.
